IS-505 Image Scanner Troubleshooting

• Make sure your USB (How To) Ports are Version 2.0 , Scanner will not function with Version 1.1
• This can be identified in the System Information screen USB2 Enhanced
• Make sure to complete the calibration procedure.
• Scanners Trays only slide in one way, do not retract the tray backwards.
• Works with only XP and Vista Operating Systems, No Mac Version.
• Sometimes switching USB ports will help.
• Delete older versions of Photo Impressions.
• Try disconnecting other USB devices, if computer is not recognizing the scanner.
• Scanner can take longer to correct over exposed photos.
  
• Scanner can not be plugged into a USB hub, unless it is a 2.0 High Speed Hub.
